Insurance We Accept

We accept Delta Dental and most insurance plans, and we do our best to optimize the insurance funds available to you.

Plans We Take

Eight carriers, and every PPO behind them

We work with all PPOs, and we do our best to optimize the insurance funds available to you so your plan of action gives you as much value as possible.

  • Delta Dental
  • Connection
  • MetLife
  • Aetna
  • Pinnacle
  • Guardian
  • BCBS
  • United Healthcare

We do not accept Medi-Cal or HMO’s. However, we do have personal financing options available for those on these plans.

How Your Benefits Are Used

What your plan covers is only half of the conversation

Dr. Smith and our staff have long-term relationships with our patients because of our conservative approach to treatment, and the entire staff treats patients like family.

  • Every PPO, including Delta Dental

We accept Delta Dental and most insurance plans. We work with all PPOs, and we do our best to optimize the insurance funds available to you so your plan of action gives you as much value as possible.

  • The cost is on the table before we start

We take our time to talk about how much everything will cost before treatment begins. Honest, no-pressure, conservative treatment: we show you the options and the costs, and you decide.

  • Priced so the right treatment stays on the list

Reasonably priced implant care, so the treatment you actually need is not the one you have to rule out. Sedation dentistry at prices families can afford.

If Insurance Is Not Enough

Two ways to spread the cost

Personal financing is what we offer patients whose plan we cannot bill — Medi-Cal and HMO — and patients whose PPO benefit runs out before the treatment plan does.

CareCredit

Health and dental financing you apply for once and can use for future treatment.

Sunbit

Point-of-care financing decided at the front desk when you plan your treatment.

What implants actually cost Melissa, sedation coordinator, on the $5,000-a-tooth misconception.
Transcript
So we see a lot of patients here that are coming in for consultations wondering about implants. And one of the misconceptions I feel about implants is patients think they're gonna be $5,000 a tooth, and that's just not the case. We really pride ourselves here at Dr. Smith's office in making implants affordable for patients. Anywhere from an individual implant to a full mouth restoration, we really try to provide implant services at a cost that you can afford, with payment plans also available.
